Steve Beever -
Leadership
Steve has been involved in hairdressing all his working life, starting out as a junior at 16 and steadily working his way up to becoming a Salon Manager. At the tender age of 20 Steve began working for himself and built up one of the North's leading hairdressing chains. In between running his hairdressing chain and Beever, Steve also works as an industry expert for HABIA - the government approved standards setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa - on their national occupational revue. Outside of the industry Steve also devotes significant time mentoring young people in business start-ups.
Iain Sallis -
Team Trichologist
Iain Sallis is quickly becoming one of Britains leading Consultant Trichologists and is regularly in demand for media and television work both at home and abroad. When Iain isnt sat in front of a TV camera or writing articles for leading newspapers or magazines he acts as a consultant for 6 independent hospitals throughout the country and is also a Director of 10 Hairdressing, which is a salon in the heart of Kingston-Upon-Hull that has repeatedly been nominated for "Salon of the Year" at the British Hairdressing Business Awards. As a member of the Beever team Iain has been involved with the development of our products right from the very beginning and works closely with the artistic team on the overall direction of the brand.
Christian Howley -
Creative Ambassador
Christian comes for a hairdressing family background and cut his teeth in the industry sweeping up in his mothers salon. An extremely raw talent with boundless passion and energy he quickly out grew the family salon and moved up to work with the famous Taylors Hairdressing Team where he went on to win UK fashion champion and UK under 25 champion 3 years in a row, along with numerous other gold medals Christian was also a member of the British World Cup team. Since joining the Beever Artistic Team Christian has performed on stage in the UK, Australia and Sweden as well as being seconded to work on stage alongside Paul Brown in the USA. For me hairdressing is more than a job, it's my life, I've been involved in it since I was 14 and I love how creating and adapting styles can completely change a person's image and how they feel about themselves.
David Audsley -
Creative Ambassador
David is an extremely driven, passionate and hardworking hairdresser with a wealth of knowledge that has made him a popular platform artist both at home and abroad. He started his career working with the Westrow the iconic northern hairdressing group and for the past 10 years has run his own successful salon. In addition to his daily life as a salon owner David is the Artistic Director for Scissorhands UK and also a platform artist for Coss Denmark. David travels out to both Denmark and Malta on a regular basis to perform seminars, hair shows and educational workshops for stylists and salon owners alike as well as appearing in the UK at Blackpool, Salon International and many smaller bespoke regional workshops. I feel extremely honoured and very excited about being a member of the Beever Artistic Team, working alongside some very successful and talented stylists with a great passion and a depth of experience.
Chris Wood -
Creative Ambassador
Chris is a talented young stylists and a name to watch out for in the coming years, his passion and energy for the creative process are an inspiration to anyone who is lucky enough to work with him. In only his 2nd year as a stylists Chris qualified for the final of the Swarzkopf creative team in Manchester and also for the Swarzkppf young artistic team finals in London. For the past few years Chris has been the salon manager at Danny Lea Hair & Beauty and in recent years has won the regional finals for the Wella Trend Vision before going on to pick up a bronze medal in the national finals.
Richard Ashmore -
Logistics Director
Richard has been a chartered surveyor for over 20 years. For a significant part of these 20 years he has specialised in the retail sector for a client list that contains many major corporate and international companies. Since joining Beever a year ago, Richard has broadened his scope of operations whilst still making good use of his specialist skill set for both the Beever and the wider salon network.
David Drew -
Salon Business Coach
David Drew has been in the hairdressing industry for the last 35 years, working for companies including Vidal Sassoon and Jingles International. David has successfully launched and developed an amazing, award winning (and profitable!) salon. His interests in the business side of hairdressing eventually lead him to train and qualify as an accredited business coach. Then in 2005, after 24 years of running his own business, David sold his salon as a going concern in order to concentrate fully on his coaching career. David is well respected within the hairdressing industry and his salon was one of the first salons in the country to be fully computerised and also one of the first salons to become a 5 star recognised "GSG" member. He is a Fellow of the Fellowship, a master craftsman of "The Hairdressing Council"; a former council member for "HABIA" representing 'Nationally approved Salons' and has contributed to the criteria for 'Foundation Degrees in Hairdressing'.
